How to Make Best Tasting Cup of Coffee - Part 1

Let's start from beginning: for drinking great cup of gourmet coffee throw away all the coffee you have in your house already! You'll have to get coffee beans and grind them just before you want to make your favorite beverage.

Previously grind coffee, which you probably have and can buy in most food stores around the country is just no good.Grind coffee looses aroma and taste,so that's why beverages made from fresh grind coffee beans have much more taste, aroma and caffeine compared to beverage made from previously grind coffee.

Basically, there are two sorts in commercial use today:

• "Arabica",cultivated mostly in South America and it covers about 75 % of the world's coffee trade
• "Robusta" cultivated mostly in Africa, covers about 20% of the world's coffee trade

Which one you want to use is totally up to you and your personal taste.

There are also few other sorts of beans and plants, but they're cultivated and traded in very small quantities.

"Arabica" and "Robusta" have slightly different taste ("Robusta" is more bitter for example),and most commercial brands used today are blended from this two sorts.Besides blending sorts in various ratios, different flavors can also be gained by different grades of roasting process.More roasted beans have more bitter taste.

In gourmet food stores you can buy unroasted ,green coffee beans and roast it at your home to get your personal preferred taste, but it is very demanding job,and chances that you'll succeed are very low,so I wouldn't recommend it
